Pedot (2005) is an album by the Finnish rock group CMX. The word Pedot is Finnish for beasts.
The album is thematically loosely based on continuing the themes about the manifestation of evil from their previous record Aion, but apart from the previous record's spiritual themes Pedot is more concentrated on human beings and their problems about dealing with the evil found in the world. A. W. Yrjänä, the band's bassist and songwriter, has said that lyrically this is probably his most personal CMX album up to date, as he had to deal with troubles in his personal life and immediate family throughout the creative process of the record, the lyrics reflecting a more down-to-earth approach to songwriting.
