[edit] They Call It Stormy Monday (But Tuesday Is Just As Bad)

Hello, and thank you for you contributions to this article. At Wikipedia, however, we need to cite such comments, per the rule of no original research. I know that my writing in this article isn't cited either, but maybe we could both look for sources about the song. -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 15:33, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, I don't think the song itself is a valid source, because of the little WP:NOR rule. See, we have to cite secondary sources, like that tab book. I wasn't questioning the validity of your statement (indeed, I agree with it), but it has to be cited. I've seen articles deleted for violating the rule, so it's always nice to be careful :). -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 06:46, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
The issue isn't the presence of the solo, it's the commentary on it (the fact that it has a jazz-waltz feel...it does, but we know this by listening to the song, and we need to have a secondary source - an article from a magazine or website, for example - to confirm this) that is the problem. I know some of what I said in the article (for example, Duane Allman's "virtuosic" guitar playing) needs to be referenced too, and I should really find a source. -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 00:37, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
It should be enough, yes. -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 03:31, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
