Pearl Jam 2006 World Tour (2006) |
2007 European Tour (2007) |
A concert tour by Seattle band Pearl Jam to support their eighth album Pearl Jam. It was their first since the 2005 North American/South American Tour.
The official bootlegs on this tour were available in MP3 and lossless FLAC formats. The first leg of their 2006 World Tour focused on the major cities of the northeastern United States. The second leg included three two-night stands opening for legendary rock artist Tom Petty. Pearl Jam went on to tour Europe for their first time in six years. Pearl Jam headlined the Reading and Leeds festivals despite having previously vowed never to play at a festival ever again after the tragedy of Roskilde. Safety measures, reportedly requested by the band, included a second barrier in front of the main stage to prevent a crush at the front. After Europe the band headed to Australia and then finished the year with two shows in Hawaii, the last of which saw them opening for the last show of U2's Vertigo Tour.
