Peak Alarm is a Utah based security service provider established in 1969 with regional offices covering Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. They offer full security services including burglary and fire protection and guard and patrol services.

Peak Alarm was founded in 1969 by Jerry Howe in the state of Utah.
In 1978, Peak Alarm was awarded a listing by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Underwriters Laboratories is an independent agency that inspects and certifies alarm companies.
In 1980 Peak Alarm expanded operations by opening an office in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Peak currently operates offices in Boise, Burley, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Utah offices include Salt Lake City, Park City, and St. George.
In 1998 the company expanded its business to include guard and patrol services. Peak Guard & Patrol Services offer a full line of manned security services including Alarm responses, Patrol Services, and Standing Guards.
Today, Peak Alarm is the largest independent, full-service electronic security provider in Utah and Idaho. The company provides over 10,000 businesses, industrial facilities and residences with the most advanced burglar alarm and fire alarms, closed circuit TV (CCTV) systems, access control systems, process and environmental monitoring. Now on its second generation, family-owned and managed Peak has over 325 employees on staff.
