Peachtree Linux
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Peachtree Linux is a Linux distribution popular in the Southeastern United States and in certain Scandinavian countries. It is frequently termed "Georgia Gentoo". It was started in 2002 by students and ex-students of Georgia Institute of Technology, but has since been discontinued.
Peachtree Linux aimed to be a small system for those familiar with Linux. In order to meet this requirement, it did not come with the GNOME or KDE GUIs. It ran on the Alpha, i686 and PowerPC architectures.
