Template:PD-old-50

Note on usage: This template is for images which are PD in the US because they were published before 1923 (or US copyright has otherwise expired) and would be PD anywhere that recognized a 50 years-after-death rule. If you have an image which is just PD in the US because it was published in the US before 1923, use {{PD-US}} instead.

This image is in the public domain in the United States. In most cases, this means that it was first published in the United States prior to January 1, 1923 (see the PD-US talk page for more cases). Its copyright has also expired in those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 50 years.
