I am currently (Feb, 2006) a research specialist in the Department of Animal Biology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I currently study polar fishes with special emphasis on issues relating to antifreeze proteins. I have been working in this field since mid-2002, and have travelled to McMurdo Station twice (approx. 6 months each) to conduct the relevant field work.
