[edit] Thanks for the suggestion

I appreciate your suggestion about creating an article about the site itself but because it’s a new site it might not fit yet Wikipedia’s criteria or worthiness. Right now , the content is the one that matters, it’s a complement to Wikipedia because it provides user reviews as Wikipedia doesn’t in its philosophy. If you’d help me to write an article about ITerating it would be really great, I would really appreciate it. We like Wikipedia a lot and we’ll most likely link to it in our product wiki pages.

[edit] My link was deleted

My external link to Epiphany (browser), was deleted although on external links it clearly says on the first paragraph "Wikipedia articles can include links to web pages outside Wikipedia. Such pages could contain further research which is accurate and on-topic; information that could not be added to the article for reasons such as copyright or amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks); or other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article (such as reviews and interviews)." that external links can contain user reviews.

Thanks, Alina Alinutza_b

[edit] Thank you for your contributions to the Art Of Noise article.

Hello,

I would like to thank you for your contributions and modifications that you and others have made to the "Art Of Noise" article. I greatly appreciate the hard work you have poured into the wiki article of one of my favorite electronic music groups. Thank you. :-D Mr. Sinistar 00:56, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Mr. Sinistar. AoN has been one of my favourite groups since the 80's, so I'm more than happy to contribute to the article. pbryan 01:18, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] BC Place Stadium

Hello,

To allow you to replace the comments there is an article about it on The Vancouver Sun of Saturday (not accessible on the net). 216.86.113.16 08:01, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, 216.86.113.16. This should be cited in the BC Place page. Wikipedia should generally contain accepted and verifiable facts, and not conjecture made by a newspaper writer. I'm highly sceptical about the prospect of a replacement stadium changing venue to Abbotsford and adding a necessary rail link to service event patrons. pbryan 17:21, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Library Infobox

I saw you used {{Infobox Library}} on a few articles. I just created it a few weeks ago, and you're the first person other than me to use it. I was wondering if you had any feedback on it. Any missing fields, or better ways to present the data? Thanks! -- Norvy (talk) 16:41, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

I added a location field, and elaborated on the population served, which inspired me to add a members field as well. I'm envious of your Burnaby Public Library infobox, the system issues a very comprehensive annual report. I'm not sure how an infobox to list individual branches would work, especially with a large variance in number of branches. Compare what I've done at San Diego County Library to what you've done at Surrey Public Library. It may be better left to individual choice on pages. Thanks again! -- Norvy (talk) 18:52, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:OpenSSO logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:OpenSSO logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] "Controversial Literature" category

Hi Pbryan -- The Controversial Literature category was nominated for discussion (and deletion); see Category:Controversial Literature for the link. You may have missed it because the tag was removed, apparently by mistake; I've since replaced it. If you have thoughts about the utility or scope of this category they would be welcome. --lquilter 21:19, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "regime"

I've already had to explain this to somebody else as well, but here goes:

A regime is not an evil word, it does not have negative connotations. Just because the media has hijacked a word, does not mean we cannot use it properly and in its rightful context.

Regime:

2 a : mode of rule or management b : a form of government <a socialist regime> c : a government in power <predicted that the new regime would fall> d : a period of rule

I have reverted your edit back to its original wording. Please discuss this on the British Columbia talk page if you feel I'm still somehow wrong.

[edit] Stalking

Are you stalking users now Pbryan? You have Me along with Bryson109, Tony360X which you had banned; jerk, and RedNeckIQ55. I will warn them that you are stalking them. – BigFrank101

I am watching the activites of various suspect users, as well as those whose pages have been affected by vandalism and impersonation in the past. As this is stored on a publicly accessible Wikipedia page, I have nothing to hide about it. Feel free to inform whomever you choose. Please do be careful about personal attacks as nobody appreciates namecalling. pbryan 21:49, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
I was vandalzed? Well I do not see what the problem is. I think it’s a nice to have a fella user watching out for others well being.
Thank You pbryan

[edit] Image:LinkedIn favicon.png

Hi, Pbryan. I'm afraid that, per criterion #9 of Wikipedia:Fair use criteria, the image Image:LinkedIn favicon.png can't be used on your user page. I've removed it. As the image is now no longer used anywhere, it now fails criterion #7 of Wikipedia:Fair use criteria, and will be deleted in accordance to item #5 of Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Images/Media.

There's nothing you need to do about this (not even fell guilty :) ).

Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 22:19, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures

Hey Pbryan, I was wondering if you knew how to upload a picture on wikipedia. If so would you explain to me how? - RedNeckIQ55 4/4/07 8:08PM
