[edit] Summary

The KLF's "Pyramid Blaster" logo, used throughout the work released on the KLF Communications record label, and throughout the artistic output of all incarnations of The KLF. Fair use claimed for commentary on the logo itself and for illustrating the work of The KLF and KLF Communications.

Although the picture is subject to copyright I (Kingboyk) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. it is a low resolution copy of a logo widely circulated in press advertisements, on the world wide web and on musical recordings;
  2. it does not limit the copyright owner's rights in any way;
  3. it's use is essential for illustrating the logo of KLF Communications, the rights owner.
