Make a user page! As a result of bitter experience I no longer help people with their fiction. But I can give you some general guidelines:

1. Write the following: (a) a 100 word blurb of your book; (b) a 300 word precis and (3) a chapter wise summary.

2. Choose one chapter of your book to send as a sample.

3. Write a one- or at most two-page CV.

4. Send the package to as many publishers as you can afford, and wait. Publishers take three to six months to respond. Gently prod them after three months.

5. Keep your fingers crossed.

NEVER send the whole book, unless specifically asked. Eventually you will strike lucky, though it may take a long time. It helps as well if you set up a blog or website, because you can reach readers instantly through it. But remember that stuff that's been on your site should not be sent to publishers for print publication. Most publishers regard online publishing as detrimental to a book's prospects.

Good luck!
