Payyal falls under the Nedungapra Post office area of Ernakulam District. A small place 10kms away from Perumbavoor towards Kothamangalam via Kottappady. A very picteresque place with lots of lush greenery. Thick green rice fields and cocunut plantations are the main attractions of Payyal.
