Not sure why you're accussing me of 'Wikistalking' when I've simply followed wikilinks leading to Julius Steicher from Jyllands and decided to make an edit or two. In your edits around him I've really gotten the impression that you're rather inclined to belittle Streicher's role in the movement to exterminate the Jews. It almost seems like a racists POV. And why did you blank those pages? Were you just furious and needed to do something to vent? I suppose that's understandable. Netscott 08:40, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Another false allegation. I added a link to the Julius Sturmer page which you seem determined to remove from the Danish cartoons page. Who is the revisionist now? You are the one who has persentanlty tried to delete fro the Danish cartoons article reference to public references to Streicher, and I think I recall, to Jewish comparisons to a Palestenian newspaper. Don't try to pass yourself off as a champion of Israel son.
I don't have, in the context of editing these articles, any opinion about his role other than favoring factual representation -- I certainly have not belittled his role -- I have expounded on a role, which you have attempted to hide. Then I assured that the article about his publishing activities contained specific references to the role of his publishing activities as evidence at an International War Crimes tribunal. Your reference to the specious phrase "exterminating the Jews" amplifies a naive phrase that overrates the strengh of Germany, which was spectacularly unable to extermenate a durable and tenecious culture, regardless some Germans prolonged and cruel effort. In amplifying such emotional grandiosity at the expense of clear, accurate exposition only plays into the hands of holocaust deniers. I doubt you, an amateur editor, have spent much time considering the implications of your own publishing activities, nor your obligation to strictly accurate language, Netscott. Qualifiers like "seems to me" and "almost" do nothing to negate the meaning of an allegation. Don't you have anything meaningful to contribute? You've done nothing here for hours but to attack me. Honestly, I'm not too keen on reverting either Netscott's changes or on "ensuring" the deleted parts that you prefer stay in the article. I'll re-add the part about Omar, since we do mirror part of the sub-articles in the main one contrary to what has been written in article Talk. But the as for Julius Streicher, I'm not sure if I want to add that back in since it is more arguable. — Kimchi.sg | Talk 17:10, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Fair enough. What I want is to cite precedent under International law for capital punishment in propaganda crimes. Otherwise, the article implies it is at most a hate crime, which pushes the pov that anyone who says it is more is an extremist. So to provide neutral context I referenced international jurisprudence for neutral context without reference to Streicher. PaxTerra 17:14, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jyllands-Posten Muhammad Cartoons

OK, what you propose sounds good to me. I think it is important to show that many of the "man in the street" protesting Muslims are calling for violence over cartoons (which they don't seem to realize justifies the portrayal of Mohammad with a bomb-turban). If the consensus is that such references don't belong where I put them (which I'm fine with), then I wonder where that sort of thing should be put in the article. Any thoughts?
