Paxton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Paxton is an Anglo-Saxon word derived from "gardiner".[1] As early as the sixth century, Saxons crossed from the European continent and settled in the UK. The family name Paxton seems to originate in England and Scotland around 1250 AD.[2] From there, the name later spread to America and many other places around the world.
