I'm from the Czech Republic and work as an SW developer. I try to create complete coverage of Czech cities and villages. See User:Pavel Vozenilek/Locations for progress (quick info: very slow).

I also spend waste time fighting with vandals and general Wiki maintenance.

During the time here I saw increase by factor of 3-4 in articles count, visitors, contributors etc; yet the tools to keep Wikipedia quality remain as insufficient as ever. IMHO, unless they improve, Wikipedia will grow worse and will acquire reputation of garbage bin.
