Pavithra is also the name of the 'Mother Goose' of the organisation known as the Melbourne University Sri Lankan Students' Association. Known as the eternal protector of all involved in the MUSLSA's activities, she reaches her peak throughout an event commonly known as the annual charity play. In 2006-07 she was elected Co-President (with a sprightly young man by the name of Sudesh) of the elite organisation, enabling her to engage in a executive position which showcases her awe-inspiring organisational and leadership talents. While her friendship and companionship is often admired, it is on occasion excluded from group electronic communications, for which the author is most apologetic. Pavithra is loved by friends, adored by family and admired by all. More information about Pavithra, Sudesh and their work with the MUSLSA, which raises thousands in funds for charities every year, can be gleaned from the organisation's website at: http://muslsa.com
