Paveletskaya (Павелецкая) is a station on the Koltsevaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It opened on January 1, 1950 and was designed by N.Ya. Kolli and I.N. Kastel. The station features white Koyelga marble pylons inlaid with patterns of red marble and flanked by marble columns with modern Ionic capitals. Marble balustrades in the center of the station mark the location of the flights of stairs that lead to the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. At the end of the platform is a mosaic depicting workers and peasants uniting under the hammer and sickle.
The station's entrance vestibule occupies the lower level of a building on the northwest corner of Paveletskaya Square. The interior of the vestibule is decorated with a mosaic by P. Korin.
