This account has been permanently blocked, for trolling on Talk:Gregory Lauder-Frost. --ajn (talk) 14:52, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but an administrator or other user has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators or users can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request nor add another unblock request.

Request reason: "See below"

Decline reason: "Most obviously trolling on Talk:Gregory Lauder-Frost. This is unacceptable. Account appears to be a single-use account for the purposes of trolling. The block is therefore justified on the grounds of disruption alone. -- ЯEDVERS 14:46, 3 August 2006 (UTC)"

This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

.

I object to the accusation of "trolling". Kindly explain what you mean by this.

I am not a proxy for Mr Frost, I have never met him, and I know nothing about him other than what has been stated on these pages.

I have fully explained my reason for objecting to any circumvention of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. If you believe that I have been abusive or otherwise "out of order" in my posts, kindly state where.

This is a clear attempt to interfere with free expression.--Paul Marchment 00:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree with the block. Your tone was both provocative and patronising as you must have been aware.--Edchilvers 17:07, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Utter Nonsense. It is ridiculous to suggest that my arguments were "trolling" (Here's one definition: "Deliberately posting false information in order to elicit responses from people who really want to help" [[1]])

Let's see your definition of "trolling".

You might as well accuse any barrister who takes apart an unreliable witness in court of being a "troll". How do you defend the obvious bad faith of Ed Chilvers, Tracy Williams and Endomorph?

And why was I given no warning of your impending arbitrary and undemocratic action? --Paul Marchment 22:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
