[edit] Welcome

Hello, Paul Klein, and welcome to the English Wikipedia! Judging from the complex edits you made, you're not new to the project. If you have any questions about it anyway, don't hesitate to drop a note at my talk page :) Regards from Slovenia, -Missmarple 17:07, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Don't worry about your edits of my talk page; when I mess up something, I just fix it, write 'oops' in the edit summary and pretend it never happened :P Anyway... I'll keep an eye on your edits so expect hearing from me :) Missmarple 20:20, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Game Article

Hey! I see that you made a new videogame related page. You might consider joining the computer and video game project- right now I'm adding your new page to the "new pages section" and attributing it to you. --PresN 21:20, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Uploading images, copyright tags etc.

That's quite a difficult question - U.S. copyright laws can get quite confusing. You should find Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Image copyright tags useful to read. Also, there's been an article on Wikipedia Signpost this week about fair use tags (Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2006-08-07/Publicity photos)... I think that asking the people at the computer and video game project would be a good idea ;) --Missmarple 08:44, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello again! You're doing a very fine job with Heideroosjes :) I wanted to suggest you something anyway. Since you often write new articles, using Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups would help you a lot. For example, when you mark 'Dutch' as a link, you can highlight it and a popup will show the first few lines of the 'Dutch' article. In this particular case, it is useful because you will see that 'Dutch' is in fact a disambiguation page, which means that you'll either have to link to 'Dutch people', 'Dutch language' or 'Netherlands'. I found popups very useful and I think you would, too. But yeah. Keep up the great work :) -Missmarple 09:29, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Marike jager.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Marike jager.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not upload images in the GIF format

Hello and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you've uploaded a number of images in the GIF format. In the future, please save GIF images in the PNG format before converting (see Wikipedia:Preparing images for upload). PNG images almost always have a smaller file size, which decreases the amount of time they take to load. There are a bunch of other advantages to the PNG format such as lossless compression that you can read about on its Wikipedia article. ---Remember the dot 03:23, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
