This just oozes of Paul Smith having written the article himself. How else would 'he' know what takes pride of place in his office at the BBC (last line). The line 'a champion of new talent and as an easy going innovator, who is not scared to try new ideas' gushes with bias. I have looked him up and it does appear he has done quite a bit on TV so his article should be kept, but, really, this is sub-standard stuff.

Also, the name Paul Smith is more readily associated with the fashion company, yet where is the disambiguation?
