Krause was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998 after a long delay which has been questioned by many, particularly those who follow sabremetrics.

Uh, why? --The Kevin 15:59, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

I was raised just 10 miles from where Mr. Krause grew up. He started to play baseball with 15 and 16 year oldes when he was 8 years old. It must have been the way it was back than because I did the same at 8 years old when I asked my brothers if I could play? They said no but I got my way and hit a ball over there heads into the out field. I was asked after that if I wanted to play even if I didn't want to. Paul Krause was a great athlete at any sport he wanted to compete in and his High school Flint Bendel has all his high school trophies in the showcases coming on 50 years. That area in Michigan was a good place to grow up. I am 7 years younger than Paul and can remember playing ball back than just to do something and loved it. We didn't have T.V. or games to play in the house. If you were in the house in the summer you were sick or doing chores. So we played ball. Sports is great for kids to grow with.
