Paulo Jr.

Paulo Jr. (born Paulo Xisto Pinto Junior on April 30, 1969) was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and is the bassist of the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura. In the latter half of his career, he has played 35" 5-string Zon basses, tuned flat. Pinto is the only member of Sepultura that has always been in the band and currently the only founding member. He claims Max and Igor were so impressed by his guitar ("Wow, what a nice bass man") that they asked him to join the band. Paulo cut his hair in 2006, and now wears it short.
