Paulo Filho (born May 24, 1978) is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter as well as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo practitioner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is currently a member of Brazilian Top Team and often compared (in fighting style and appearance) to his teammate Ricardo Arona. Filho has a professional record of 14-0-0 as of November 5, 2006, and is considered one of the best middleweights in MMA.

Filho's last fight was a victory against Kazuo Misaki in the semi-finals of the PRIDE Bushido 13 Welterweight Grand Prix on November 5th, by armbar. Unfortunately, Filho suffered a ruptured membrane in his knee during the fight, forcing him to withdraw from the Grand Prix finals match against Denis Kang, who also suffered injury with a torn bicep in the semifinals.[1] He was replaced by Kazuo Misaki, who went on to defeat Kang and claim the Grand Prix title. A fight against Kang is expected when Filho returns in 2007.

So far, Filho's most notable wins include Yuki Kondo and Kazuo Misaki, as well as Amar Suloev and Ikuhisa Minowa.
