Paul Tan, is a prominent blogger based in Malaysia. As a car enthusiast, he writes about cars and the automotive industry in his blog, Paul Tan's Raves and Rants on the Automotive Industry. He is also one of the pioneers of BlogsMalaysia, a Malaysian metablog modelled after Boingboing.
Established in 2005, the site enjoyed a quick rise to fame and gets nearly a million pageviews a month.[1] It has become car-crazed Malaysian's resource for the latest automotive industry news as well as new car spyshots.
Paul is also known to be a photography enthusiast, and has been recognised as a member of the local media by several automobile companies such as BMW Malaysia, Honda Malaysia, Proton, Naza Kia and others.
Several automotive industry analysts, writers and marketeers refer to his website for the latest updates and rumours for new models, events and reviews. A little known fact is that he shares much in common with Phua Chu Kang[citation needed].
