Paul Pietzschke (also: Paul Pietzschke NautiChem) is a German corporation with its main office located in Norderstedt, Northern Germany. The company was founded by its namesake in 1889 at Hamburg, Germany as a chemical and technical company.

From the very beginning the Paul Pietzschke Company has produced and markets a line of elastic sealants, coatings and lubricants for the commercial ship building industry. In 1962 Paul Pietzschke has development the first fully synthetic sealant for the yacht and ship building industry. These new type of sealant became known as WKT Synthetic Sealing Compound. Paul Pietzschke has set standard for extraordinary elasticity and extremely durable and technically advanced products. Paul Pietzschke products are sold under the registered trademark NautiChem.

Paul Pietzschke was founded by its namesake in 1889 at Hamburg, Germany. The first trademark was registered in German’s imperial patent office on February 24th 1898 under the name Paul Pietzschke and showing in is’s logo the letter “P” and a newt tied up in chains and its moth closed with a padlock indicating that Pietzschke products protecting from all harsh influence of the rough sea water, even under the water line. In 1998 Mr. Paul Peter Pietzschke, representative of the third generation of the family owned enterprise, turned the company over to Mr. Ralf Beckedorf. NautiChem was introduced as Paul Pietzschke’s new trademark in 2001 and since than is used in the company’s name as Paul Pietzschke NautiChem.
