Paul Palnik

Paul Palnik (born 1946) is a Jewish-American artist, writer and educator.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Palnik introduced kabbalistic, spiritual themes, into his cartoons in the 1980s-1990s His cartoons are part graphic design, part drawing and part literature. Palnik's images are pen and ink drawings rendered in graphic detail. His work often has a universal, spiritual, prophetic theme.
Many of Palnik's original drawings are in the collection of the Ohio State University Libraries in Columbus, Ohio and his work is also represented in The National Cartoon Museum Collection in New York City; formerly known as The International Museum of Cartoon Art. Numerous large paintings by Paul Palnik are in the collection of Camp Ramah in Conover, Wisconsin, where he is artist in residence. Palnik's paintings consistently depict mans relationship with God. Palnik lives in Columbus, Ohio.
