Paul Mulshine

Paul Mulshine is a conservative opinion columnist for the Star-Ledger in New Jersey.

He began his journalism career working for the Medium, a controversial student entertainment and satire newspaper at Livingston College, at Rutgers University. In 1975 he took his first professional job as a reporter for the Ocean County Observer in Toms River, New Jersey, where he grew up.

He later worked as city editor of the Delaware County Daily Times in suburban Philadelphia and as a copy editor for the Philadelphia Daily News, where he won numerous awards for headline writing. After some years doing magazine writing, he came to the Star-Ledger in 1995. He is married and has two daughters.
