Paul McLoone (born in Northern Ireland), is the current singer of Irish pop-punk band The Undertones. He replaced Feargal Sharkey when the band reunited for a series of festival appearances in 1999. In 2003, he recorded the studio album Get What You Need with the band. The Undertones' live following remains strong, with most fans fully accepting McLoone as the band's new frontman. He gave up smoking in 2005, after some twenty years.
