Paul Langlois is the rhythm guitarist for the popular Canadian rock group the Tragically Hip. He also sings background vocals. A high school friend of lead singer Gord Downie, he was asked to join the Tragically Hip in August of 1986. He frequently uses Gibson Les Paul guitars, unlike lead guitarist Rob Baker, who employs many different guitar brands.

Inducted - as a member of the Tragically Hip - to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in April, 2005 at the Juno Awards in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
