Paul Kosok

Paul Kosok is credited with being the original serious investigator into the Nazca Lines mystery. His work on the lines started during the 1930's and ended with his death in 1959. He was succeeded by Maria Reiche until her own death in 1998.

Dr. Paul Kosok was a Professor at Long Island University and taught several courses including History of Science in the undergraduate school in 1938. He also was conductor of the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra in the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
