Paul Kent

Paul Kent is a character actor who has starred in film and television for over four decades. He starred in the 1976 TV movie Helter Skelter as well as the 2004 remake, playing a different character in both versions.

Kent appeared in the 1982 motion picture Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as Lt. Cmdr. Beach, a Star Fleet Officer on the USS Reliant. He also played the character of "Dr. Carver" in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. The film was a 1987 prequel to the famous horror series.

Kent has also acted in several soap operas. In 1997 he played "Judge Wilfred Hollings" in The Young and the Restless, and in 1999 played the character of "Noel Clinton" in Port Charles, a spinoff of General Hospital. Some of Kent's other television appearances range from My Three Sons, Bonanza, Starsky and Hutch, T.J. Hooker, The West Wing and Ghost Whisperer.

Kent currently teaches acting in southern California.
