Paul Freier (born 26 July 1979 in Bytom) is a Silesian, Polish-born German football (soccer) player who currently plays as a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen.
Freier started his career with his VfL Bochum and played there for several seasons before moving to Leverkusen in 2004.
He is a member of the German national team and was recently called up as a backup squad member in the 2006 World Cup.
