Paul Dacre is a New Zealand criminal trial lawyer, who was appointed as Public Defender for the Pitcairn sexual assault trial of 2004. He has had a distinguished career at the bar (practising as a barrister) mainly in Auckland but has appeared as counsel in many trials and appeals in New Zealand.
