Paul Copley (b. 25 November 1944) in West Yorkshire. He is a British actor who is well known for playing Matthews in Hornblower, Ian in Roughnecks and Peter Quinlan in The Lakes He has also appeared in Queer as Folk as Nathan Maloney's father, Big Finish's Doctor Who story Spare Parts and in Shameless as a watersports enthusiast.
