Paul Ballard

Paul 'Des' Ballard (born March 9, 1982 in Essex, England) is an English television presenter and stage actor best known by his nickname 'Des' as the co-presenter, along with Fearne Cotton, of the Saturday morning children's television programme Diggit from 1998 until 2002.
He presented the Disney Club and Roadhog with Craig Doyle, the twins, Sam and Matt, Reggie Yates between 1993-1997 before Fearne Cotton was selected as the new Disney Club girl presenter in 1997. Diggit was made in April 1998 as part of GMTV. He also presented the show with Fearne Cotton, Jack Stratton, and later on with Laura Jaye and Victoria Hickson, once Fearne left the show in 2001 to join CITV's Fingertips show.
Ballard also starred as Smee in a stage production of Peter Pan at the Central Theatre in Kent in 2001.
