Age/Birthdate

  • His real name is Patrick Star, dude. And where did you ever hear that he was born on March 14, 1983? The show never says that.
  • Born in 1983, age 23? That doesn't jive. --John Kugelman 15:48, August 31, 2005 (UTC)
  • Someone said they found his birthdate on a card in one episode, which would be Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III, when Man Ray is showing Patrick's card in Goodness Lesson #1. His card doesn't even display his birthdate. All the Card says is the following:
  • Bikini Bottom
  • Citizen Identification
  • (This is not a driver's license)
  • Patrick Star
  • 120 Counch St. Bikini Bottom
  • A1369723
  • Patrick Star (Signature)
  • There is also a picture to the left, with something written above the picture, but if it is the birthdate, I cannot read it. Even watch the episode here. -AMK152 14:16, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Last Name

  • Isn't his real name Patrick Starr? I'm pretty sure that there's two R's in his last name.
  • I know it has only one r. It has been seen in a few epsiodes Star.~Rainer~
  • I was wondering about the R's too, but I don't think the show's creators would have done that. We can always move it and fix the double redirect later. Now, about his birthday? I notice that March 14 is 3/14, by the way...
  • According to Nick.com, his last name has only one R in it. --/ɛvɪs/ 17:07, Mar 20, 2005 (UTC)

Patrick is NOT a gay icon!

  • i think that the author of this article really has no idea , about what he is writting.
  • I agree. -AMK152
::*Well, if someone is gay and thinks of this 5-pointed imbecile as an "icon", all I can so to them is, "Knock yourself out!" :) Wahkeenah 00:33, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Cleanup

This article is a gigantic wall of text. I believe the most pressing need is distinct sections, which this article lacks greatly. It also contains a lot of redundant information. I've tagged it for cleanup. Does anyone else have some issues with the style of this article, or is it just me? --GUTTERTAHAH 03:59, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Should this article still have the clean up heading? S. Alatar 02:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Bad Influence

  • Shouldn't Patrick be considered a bad influence on SpongeBob? He often gets him into bad situations, such as the fishing hooks episode (truly hilarious).- B-101 14:42, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

Other jobs

Apart from the jobs listed on the front page, he has had one other job in "Squilliam Returns" as a Hat Check, taking, coats, hats, ect (Like a wennie). However, not sure if it's a Hat Check or a Coat Check or what the right name would be for it. Drakehellman 09:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Wouldn't it be called something like a Doorman? -AMK152 03:53, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Intro

The intro is way too long. Someone should try to shorten it a little, either by deleting unnecessary information or moving it to another section of the article.

Cleanup

  • It should be obvious why I added this. I see mechanics errors, highly unencyclopedic writing, and unverified claims. I beg someone who cares more about the article than I do to fix it up. Deltabeignet 03:02, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
  • I second that. An encyclopedia should never emphasize a word with capital letters. If it's really necessary, underline or italisize it. Also, the quotes section is pretty lame; anyone who hasn't seen the show would have no idea what they mean! Plus, if you're going to have a trivia section, at least put more than one trivia fact! Otherwise, get rid of it. This article is in pretty bad shape, but alas I don't have time to fix it. Any volunteers? --Thebends 22:23, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Richard?

  • Where is there proof that Patrick's middle name is "Richard?" -AMK152 21:03, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Protection

This page needs to be protected. Anyone agree? -AMK152 22:55, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

the vandalism is manageable for the moment, if it gets worse maybe. Arniep 18:24, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

BRANDINI THE GREAT SAYS: SpongeBob is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Foster Grandmother?

  • Is the "Granny" from Where's Gary? really Patrick's Foster Grandmother? Is there any quotes/sources that can prove this? -AMK152

New, questionable quotes

  • An anonymous user whose first edit was vandalism has added one quote and modified another, but I have no idea as to the validity of the edits. Could someone please review the changes from today by 24.251.57.32?

  • "I know alot about head injuries. Believe.................me." is from Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost when Squidward's sculpture is destroyed; "I SAID SPONGEBOOB!" is from Missing Identity, when SpongeBob is retracing his steps and Patrick is suppose to say "Hi SpongeBob!" -AMK152

Patrick in the suds

In this episode we see two more sides to Patrick. One is that he has no problems with claiming to be a doctor, wich he obviously isnt. The other one occurs just before Sandy arrives to get Spongebob to the real doctor. We see Patrick with a brown cap over his head, and Spongebob in a dark room with candles and what seems to be a rack. I think we should add this as two more sides to Patrick. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Redmess (talkcontribs) .

Dude, in both instances, he was trying to cure Spongebob so he wouldn't need to face the terrors within the doctor's office, like the old magazines, Or the icy cold touch of the stephoscope.
Okay, "dude". And next time sign your comments. - Redmess 21:25, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Relatives

The show never says that Patrick has a close relative called Kern, but it's official from the creators themselves. Kern is described a star-shaped fellow with similar rounded features and pretty face. Though frequent use of heavy drugs has led to the creators dissapoval of the Kern character, outcasting him to fraggle.

Where did you find that at? -AMK152 03:48, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

About Patrick's black eye color and weight

I added those facts because they were revealed in a SpongeBob episode that has not aired in the United States yet. Those facts were on Patrick's drivers license. See the episode in German here. If this episode ever airs in the United States, change the title to what it would be in English. Squirepants101 15:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
