Patti Russo

Patti Russo (Patricia Rousseau) born in New York (May 20, 1964) of French-Italian descent, is an American vocalist best known for her strong vocals featured in many successful songs by Meat Loaf. She performed with him on tour from 1993 to 2005 with his band Neverland Express including on the DVD release Live in Melbourne singing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. She also sang a duet with him on "What About Love" on the recently released Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose.

She also played the role of Theresa on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra album Beethoven's Last Night and has also been featured on the soundtrack to the Jim Carrey movie, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She has also performed in several other musicals.

In 2000, she played the character of Esmeralda in the London production of Notre Dame de Paris. She also played the character of "Killer Queen" in the Las Vegas version of the musical We Will Rock You, based on the music of Queen.

Her song "Take Good Care Of My Heart" is featured as the theme song in the Warner Brothers feature Lies, which is the main focus of the movie. The song was co-produced by award winning composer-producer Fred Weinberg.

Patti has been on numerous talk shows including the tonight show.

On the review to "Couldn't Have Said It Better" MTV's write up to Russo was " Why has this woman not got a record deal ?!?"

Patti has now left Meatloaf's touring band 'The Neverland Express' and is currently working on a solo project. She has launched her own MySpace page to keep fans up to date with her current work.
