[edit] Character
Patsy arnolds is described as a free spirited punk, with a heart. She falls in love with Jamie in season two, and dates him into the next season as they work on her upcoming album. They did much work on her album, until in "Helter Skelter" where she destroyed the laptop containing her music. However, after her death in the next episode, her music is saved and released to CD. While Darius says it is to honor her, it is really just a chance to get money. It is revealed, however, that Darius secretly arranged for Spiederman to help Jude get Past's ashes out of G-Major for a wake. Darius seemed to truly respect Patsy. Patsy hated the song "Shooting Star" which Darius used as the title of her album.
She had a large drinking problem, which brought her to her death. On the other hand, Patsy used to steal bread loafs from bakeries and hand them out to homeless kids.
Patsy was born Jewish, and has a brother named Sam. He is also a musician. In "Helter Skelter" Patsy says the last she's heard of him was 4 years earlier that he was living in Seattle. She also mentions that he has no teeth now thanks to "The H", which may be Heroin, but is not stated.
Jamie and Patsy are a couple until in "Helter Skelter", where Jamie gives her an ultimatum of either going back to the studio at G Major and finishing her album - or them breaking up. Patsy chose to end it. The two dated for four months. Their relationship fit well because Jamie was eager to produce someone and Patsy wanted to be heard. However, when the music was put into production, Jamie took some twists with it that Patsy absolutely hated.
Patsy drove an older, possibly 70's model Cadillac, that seemed to be black. She actually lived in the car, even when offered a place to sleep in Jude's house. The car is furnished on the inside with doll's heads, and there is also a doll hanging on the front of the hood.
