[edit] Money Warning
The performance by Josh Fenderman and his band turns into an episode of Genuine Hollywood Factual Report, focusing on Fenderman's life. Genuine Hollywood Factual Report is a parody of E! True Hollywood Story and Josh Fenderman is a parody of Corey Feldman. The documentary takes us through Josh's career. His career began in 1976, when as a child, he acted in a commercial for "Frankie P. Cheesewinkle's", promoting their new pumpkin pizza. His catchphrase from the commercial was "It's pumpkinninny!" Next, hot Hollywood director Sol Stevenberg cast Josh as the lead in his movie Goober Patrol. After this, Josh starred in the films Dumbbell University and Tunafishing '87. Josh continued to get richer and richer; until by the late 1980s, he was broke. Josh blames the money for his problems because it did not come with instructions and he was not told that he would not get it back after spending it. This causes him to start a lawsuit against the Treasury Department. He wins the lawsuit, causing the Treasury Department to have to put a warning on all money that says "Warning: This dollar is not yours after you spend it."

A woman in a restaurant is holding the box of candies. She is meeting with her boyfriend, Todd Hinley, after they have been broken up for a week. Todd says that he barely left the house, and the woman says that she signed up for a Tex Mex cooking class which hasn't started yet. The woman becomes surprised when Todd starts smoking. She asks him about it and he says that he picked up the habit in the past week and that he tried to quit a couple of times. The couple continues to catch up, until a man at the bar walks up and punches Todd in the face. He says that it is for standing up Jennifer at the altar. [edit] Trivia
- Title: The line "Patriotism, pepper, and professionalism" is spoken by David Cross's character, Larry "Marilyn Monster" Turnaur in the sketch "Marilyn Mozzarella Pizzarella Pie Parlours", when he is listing the 16 Ps. Patriotism, Pepper, and Professionalism are three of the 16 Ps.
- Fake Special Thanks: Lawrence E. Walsh
- DVD Commentary: Bob Odenkirk, David Cross (as himself and as 2001: A New Wave Godyssey bandmember), Jay Johnston, Brian Posehn, Paul F. Tompkins, Scott Aukerman (as himself and as 2001: A New Wave Godyssey bandmember), Bill Odenkirk, Jerry Minor, B.J. Porter (as himself and as Josh Fenderman)
- The episode's title on the DVD is listed as "Patriotism, Pepper, Professionalism" because the regular title was too long.
- On the DVD commentary, Jay Johnston admits that Adam McKay, a comedy writer who was the head writer for Saturday Night Live at the time, wrote the "Goodbye" sketch with him. However, McKay was not credited because Jay did not turn in a form in time for him to get credited for "Additional material". Also, it was McKay who introduced Johnston to his comedy partner and fellow Mr. Show castmember/writer Paul F. Tompkins.
- On the fourth season DVD, the "Mr. Show Jukebox" feature has two songs called "Information Jimmy Demo 1" and "Information Jimmy Demo 2", which were cut from the episode. The songs are country songs and are about Mark Rivers's character in the episode.
- Jay Johnston is credited as both a castmember and a featured castmember for this episode. This is the only episode in which he is credited as part of the main cast.
