The Patriotic Salvation Movement (French: Mouvement Patriotique de Salut or MPS) is the ruling political party in Chad. Its presidential candidate at the presidential elections of 20 May 2001, Idriss Déby, won 63.2 % of the vote. At the last legislative elections, 21 April 2002, the party won according to IPU Parline 113 out of 155 seats. Despite the majority, it governs in coalition with two smaller parties - the National Union for Democracy and Renewal, and the Union for Renewal and Democracy. In the presidential election of 2006, Déby was re-elected with 64.7 % of the vote.

Before 1990 it was a rebel party, operating out of Sudan with the financial backing of Libya.
