Patrick Ward (born 5 January 1950 in Sydney) is an Australian actor noted for several performances on Australian television.

His roles included as brief run in soap opera Number 96, along with an appearance - playing a different character - in the film version of that serial released in 1974. He subsequently had a regular role in The Unisexers, which was a serial produced by Cash Harmon Television, the makers of Number 96, in 1975. However that series was cancelled after just 15 episodes. In 1980 he was a regular cast member of soap opera Arcade which was launched by several members of the creative team who had been behind Number 96, and this show was another ratings failure cancelled after just six weeks on air. He also acted in other television series such as Class of '74, Cop Shop and Chances, and has made guest appearances in programs such as Matlock Police, The Love Boat, and A Country Practice.

Film roles have included appearances in Stone (1974) and The Chain Reaction (1980). During the 1980s he acted in several popular television miniseries. Ward subsequently played a regular role in situation comedy My Two Wives (1992).

More recent roles include appearances in All Saints in 2001, Bad Cop, Bad Cop in 2003, and in Farscape.
