Patricio Carvajal

Patricio Carvajal Prado (1918? - 16 July 1994), Chilean admiral, a Foreign Minister of Chile, and a leader of the 1973 coup that ousted President Salvador Allende.
Following the coup, Augusto Pinochet appointed him Chilean defense minister from 1973-1974 and Chilean foreign minister from 1974-1978.
Carvajal committed suicide after a long bout with cancer. [1]
