Patricia Ward Hales

Patricia Ward Hales (born February 27, 1929) was a tennis player from the United Kingdom who reached the singles final of the 1955 U.S. Championships, losing to Doris Hart 6-4, 6-2. She also partnered Shirley Bloomer to reach the women's doubles finals in 1955 at Wimbledon, where they lost to the team of Angela Mortimer Barrett and Anne Shilcock 7-5, 6-1, and at the French Championships, where they lost to the team of Darlene Hard and Beverly Baker Fleitz 7-5, 6-8, 13-11. She again reached the women's doubles final at the 1960 French Championships, where she and Ann Haydon Jones lost to the team of Hard and Maria Bueno 6-2, 7-5.
