Patricia Telesco

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patricia Telesco (also known as Marian Singer) (born 1960) is a native of Western New York and the author of over 60 New Age books including the best-selling Goddess in My Pocket, Victorian Grimoire, 365 Goddess, Spinning Spells: Weaving Wonders, Kitchen Witch's Companion, and The Little Book of Love Magic.

Employed full-time as an Administrative Assistant, she also writes books, lectures, performs readings, leads workshops, and gives public interviews. A practicing witch for over 20 years, Telesco considers herself a folk magician (or "militant kitchen witch"), whose main philosophy is K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple and Sublime). She has been a speaker at well over 150 festivals throughout the US.

She (or her writing) has appeared on several television segments including Sightings on muli-cultural divination systems and National Geographic Today – Solstice Celebrations. Besides this, Telesco maintains a strong, visible presence in the metaphysical community including having given over 300 radio interviews from coast to coast, writings on the internet through popular sites like witchvox.com, her yahoo club, interactive home page, and various appearances on internet chats and bulletin boards.

Telesco considers herself a down-to-earth Kitchen Witch whose love of folklore and worldwide customs flavor every word she writes. Her passions include dancing the fire circle, cooking and gardening, and her strongest ethical guidelines are honor, respect, and gratitude in all things.
