Patricia Kent is a fictional character portrayed by Theresa Randle in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Kent joined the office of district attorney on the show in 2006, replacing Ron Carver as the primary ADA for the NYPD's Major Case Squad. Like her predecessor, she is dedicated to procedure and quoted Carver as saying Major Case is often "major hunch."
Kent has a young child, although he has not been seen or given any characteristics other than being athletic.
[edit] Trivia
The role was originally given to Nona Gaye, but she left the series shortly after filming began, citing "creative differences".
