Patrecia Scott

Patrecia Wynand (January 23, 1940 - March 31, 1977) was born Patrecia Gullison in Canada, and was a successful model and television and theatrical actress.
In the early 1960s she met and became romantically involved with Nathaniel Branden, a psychologist, lecturer on philosophy, and one-time lover of Ayn Rand. Branden claims Rand's anger and jealousy over his affair with Patrecia to have triggered his expulsion from the Objectivist movement in 1968.[1] His account, however, is disputed in James S. Valliant's book The Passion of Ayn Rand's Critics.
After Patrecia's divorce from Larry Scott, she decided she needed a new last name. Rand suggested that she use "Wynand" after a character in her novel The Fountainhead. It became her professional name.
In 1968, she and Branden moved to California and married. She was becoming noticed in acting circles when she accidentally drowned in 1977, aged 37.
