Patmont Motor Werks was launched by Steve Patmont in 1985 with a prototype for a new motorized personal transport device called the Go-Ped. He began by building Go-Peds only for friends and family and it blossomed from there.

Steve secured a patent and began shopping his invention around to suppliers of yachts and personal aircraft as a light, portable alternative transportation device.

Today, Go-Peds are popular with people of all ages and have a vast model range of scooters and micro karts.
