Pat Ward is the Iowa State Senator from the 30th District. She has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004.
Ward currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Appropriations committee; the Commerce committee; the Judiciary committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Labor and Business Relations committee, where she is the ranking member. She also serves on the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee.
Ward was re-elected in 2004 with 19,798 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Satro Narayan and Libertarian opponent Sean Edward Martin. [1]
