Pat Rummerfield set a world speed record of 245.524mph for a Class III electric car (over 1000 Kg) in White Lightning on October 22, 1999. This record stood until 2003.

Pat completed Ironman Triathlon and Antarctic Marathon after recovering from severe paralysis.
