Pat O'Brien is the guitarist for the death metal band Cannibal Corpse. He is the writer of some of the more complicated songs, including Hatchet to the Head, Systematic Elimination and Blunt Force Castration. He features on the albums Gallery of Suicide, Bloodthirst, Gore Obsessed, Worm Infested, The Wretched Spawn and Kill.
He also played guitar for Nevermore from 1994 to 1996.
Pat O'Brien joined the group in 1997 after recording The Politics of Ecstasy with Nevermore in 1996, replacing Rob Barrett on guitars. He uses BC Rich and occasionally Jackson Guitars, Mesa Boogie Amplifiers, and EMG Pickups.
He is also an avid fan of guns and hunting.
