Pat Fox (born 8 July 1961) is a former Irish sportsman. He is a former forward on the Tipperary senior hurling team.

Pat Fox was born in Annacarty, County Tipperary in 1961 and has played at all grades with his parish Club - Éire Óg in the West Tipperary championships. As a player at various positions on Tipperary minor, U-21 and senior hurling teams in the 1970s and 1980s Fox won 2 All-Ireland medals, 3 Under-21 medals, a National Hurling League medal as well as 4 Munster hurling medals. Fox has also won 3 All-Star awards, as well as being Texaco Hurler of the Year in 1991. Fox has also become infamous due to commentator Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh's equally infamous quotation during a particularly exciting hurling encounter:

  • "Pat Fox has it on his hurl and is motoring well now ... but here comes Joe Rabbitte hot on his tail ...... I've seen it all now, a Rabbitte chasing a Fox around Croke Park!"
